The Ships of Luxury Sailing
Sea Cloud
Since her construction as a private yacht in Kiel, Germany, in 1931, 'Sea Cloud's' elegant appearance and magnificent interiors have inspired awe. No longer the yacht of an heiress, she has revived her career - as a cruise ship extraordinaire.
'Sea Cloud' accommodates 64 passengers and a crew of 60 on sailings throughout the Mediterranean. Today, she embodies the luxury and extravagance of her original owner, Marjorie Post, in her 32 stylish, spacious cabins and suites that feature golden bath fixtures, Carrara marble, fine wood, solid brass and antique furniture.
During the day, make use of 'Sea Cloud's' complimentary snorkeling and windsurfing equipment. At night, dine on gourmet cuisine prepared by chefs who come from renowned first-class restaurants. Then relax with a nightcap in the Lido Bar and take in the fresh sea air as you watch the gorgeous scenery pass by during your luxury sailing trip.
Sea Cloud II
Unlike any other ship, 'Sea Cloud II' brings the romance of yesteryear as she sails the waters of Northern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea. Her 32,000 square feet of sails, set by hand, recall the timeless elegance of windjammers of the past while combining the high safety standards and luxurious comfort and amenities of modern cruise ships.
'Sea Cloud II' carries a maximum of 94 passengers in 47 elegantly appointed cabins and suites. Four decks house a variety of cabins and facilities. She has a restaurant that serves creative cuisine in a casual atmosphere where you decide where and with whom you dine. Mid-ship on the Lido Deck guests can relax in the lounge, attend a lecture or presentation, listen to the pianist or stop in for a snack. A boutique, library, fitness area with sauna and hospital round out the facilities. For adventurous sailors, 'Sea Cloud II' offers complimentary snorkeling, water ski and windsurfing equipment.
All luxury sailing cabins are outer facing; 'Sea Cloud II' offers two spacious Owner's Suites with canopied beds, 16 Junior Suites and 29 Deluxe Outer Cabins. All are air conditioned and furnished with a TV and integrated video player, sofa, table, chair, mini-bar, dressing table, direct-dial telephone, safe, en suite bathrooms with robes and a hairdryer, and a selection of complimentary non-alcoholic drinks.
